Building Skills for Everyday Independence
Community Living & Supports, also known as CLS, is an individualized service that helps eligible participants develop, practice, and maintain skills needed for everyday life.
Services are based on the participant’s person-centered plan and may be provided in the home or community.
How CLS Can Help
CLS may help participants:
• Strengthen personal-care and daily-living skills
• Establish healthy routines and complete household responsibilities
• Improve communication and social skills
• Practice emotional regulation and coping strategies
• Develop community-safety awareness
• Participate in recreational and community activities
• Strengthen decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Work toward greater confidence and independence
Our staff collaborate with the participant, family or guardian, care manager, and treatment team to provide consistent support toward identified goals.
